As much as I would like to, I can’t take credit for this beautiful creation. My husband and I went out to dinner to this Japanese restaurant called “Komegashi” and ordered scallops for our appetizer. We were pleasantly surprised when they presented us with this scallop duo seared with caramelized pear, parsnip puree and spinach sauce on top. It was so yummy! I may have to try it at home sometime after I muster up enough courage to sacrifice a few precious scallops in hopes of going completely gourmet!
