Reading the name of this smoothie you must be thinking “what an odd combination”? But, don’t let the name fool you. This was a delicious concoction that left me wanting more!
Here is how I made this breakfast smoothie.
1 ripe banana
1 cup milk
1 tbs agave nectar
2 tbs low fat plain yogurt
6 fresh mint leaves
1) Peel the banana and cut into chunks. Now place them in a blender.
2) Add in the milk, yogurt, agave nectar, mint leaves (tear the leaves so they release the oil) and ice cubes. Blend away until smooth.
3) Garnish with mint leaves and a slice of banana and serve!
I think this is easily one of my favorite smoothies now.
